Seriously. I've been here and there, around town and downtown, but I've still been slowly writing away. I'm working on a few things for TheDrydenExperiment, including a few stories that are appearing in an upcoming horror collection. My novel writing has slowed down again, but that mostly has to do with having too many ideas and not being able to organize them. Who Killed The Giants? is my passion project still, the one I want to finish, but I honestly need a week to sit down and plan the entire novel without getting distracted. Is that possible? Probably not, but I always seem to get things done on time.
I'm halfway through my three-year program now, and spending too much money on textbooks and groceries. My hope for the summer is to stay in the city with a co-op job, but there are so many unknowns with everything, I won't know what I'm doing with myself until it's too late.
I have a lot of reading to catch up on here too. Yikes
I want to publish more stories here this year. That's my goal. I may be writing now, but I want to write more.
So...........what's new with you guys?
PS - The DD Suggestion Drive is coming again in February! LiliWrites is wonderful and has put a lot of work into it, so if you'd like to participate, you can find a group for the event at DDSuggestionDrive along with a FAQ and Prize Drive

Updates
It's been a while since I've been around here, probably since the last weekend. My update is divided into the following sections: Reading I have been slow reading this year, a continuing trend. During school I could read around 50 books a year, including big chunky ones. Now I'm at 16 so far this year and have been working my way through 11/22/63 for the last month. My sister read it last year and became obsessed with it so I decided to take the plunge. If you read It, you will enjoy this book. Other than this, I've gone head-first into paranormal romance reads, having read about 8 Jennifer L. Armentrout books so far this year. I tell myself it's for research purposes but I'm not sure if that's true anymore. Writing As usual I am starting and stopping writing on three books at a time. On one hand I've been writing and re-writing Hya's story over and over. I might have settled on how I want to combine version 2 and version 3 together. I also came up with another paranormal
Perspective
I recently gathered up my old journals from my parents' house. I wrote in a diary nearly every day between the ages of 10 and 22, so there are about 12 notebooks in total that cover roughly a year each. I would write about what been happening, how I was feeling and what was coming up. What really surprised--even shocked me--were the older ones. I always knew that growing up I was angry and likely depressed, but reading some of these things back makes me realize how much anger I actually had. I was kind of, no...I was definitely a bitch. Don't get me wrong, some of the entries are funny to look back on, but overall I feel weird looking back on that period of my life where I didn't know who I was, and where I thought I was better than everyone else. In reality, I hated myself and most of the other people around me. I stopped writing in a diary in my fourth year of university as I moved out of a relatively dramatic period of my life. That was around the same time I stopped
Youtube Channels to Watch during Quarantine
Hi guys,
I haven't left the house since last Sunday for a grocery run. Between 8 to about 4 during the week I am on the clock working from home, but something I like to do after signing out now is log onto Youtube and watch videos. When I was physically going to work I did the same thing when I got home to unwind. I subscribe to enough channels that I add videos to my Watch Later playlist as they're posted and then usually watch them about 3 months later when I've caught up.
If you're looking for new content, why not check these out.
Also please send me your channel recommendations! I am always looking for new content to watch 3 months
Quarantine Day 5: A Recap
I hope everyone is well and healthy out there, and staying safe for their own sake as well as that of the people around us.
I live in the Greater Toronto Area--I was in Thunder Bay last weekend--but we started to get into quarantines and social distancing mid last week. My boyfriend's office, as well as many others, told everyone to work from home. I got back into the city on Monday, called my boss, and I've been working from home for the last week as well.
I'm sure things here are similar to other places. Last Friday was when most people started freaking out and then stocking up. In the GTA it can be pretty crazy. My boyfriend went to
